Qualifications - 5+ years of business development experience in a service-driven, B2B environment—ideally with a focus on architecture, engineering, construction, or related industries. - Proven success engaging C-Suite leaders and key stakeholders with a consultative, trust-first approach. - Deep knowledge of your region—strong network of industry contacts (architects, owners, developers, etc.). - CRM-savvy with a disciplined, data-informed approach to pipeline and relationship management. - A natural communicator—confident, articulate, and persuasive in both writing and conversation. - A strategic thinker and self-starter who thrives on autonomy and accountability. - Willingness to travel locally and regionally, attend events, and represent HEAPY outside of regular hours when needed. Requirements - Maintains clear knowledge of HEAPY Corporate Vision, Mission, and Core Values. - Approaches all assigned tasks as an opportunity for growth and experience. - Understands HEAPY profitability goals and aligns sales strategies to achieve established goals. - Manages existing business development pipeline and develops new business opportunities. - Opens doors to new and existing clients through thoughtful contact and follow-through. - Keenly identifies trends and customer needs, aligning with client objectives. - Coordinates with business partners to ensure clients' needs are satisfied. - Monitors and evaluates industry trends and customer drivers. - Takes a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations. - Manages proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements. - Works closely with Marketing to develop new business materials. - Maintains and shares professional knowledge through education and networking. - Coordinates strategies with National Director of Business Development and team members. - Manages DELTEK Capture plan to create strategies for client work. - Enters information into DELTEK system accurately and timely. - Identifies opportunities to cross/upsell HEAPY services to clients. - Represents HEAPY culture and maintains colleague morale. - Participates actively in the client feedback process. - Other duties as assigned. Role Description American Health Plans, a division of Franklin, Tennessee-based American Health Partners Inc., owns and operates Institutional Special Needs Plans (I-SNPs) for seniors who reside in long-term care facilities. Essential Functions - Contracting providers and essential vendors in current service areas to maintain CMS adequacy and providing necessary services in the care of the Plan members. - Insuring providers and essential vendors in current service areas meet the credentialing requirements for their appropriate service lines. - Educating providers on the Health Plan(s) functions and roles in caring for its membership. - Ongoing educational updates as prescribed by CMS and the Health Plan(s) policies. - Conducting education presentations of the Health Plan(s) providers to ensure their understanding and commitment with the Health Plan(s). - Monitoring, maintaining and supporting provider relationships to ensure network coverage in all areas. - Working with and being involved in implementation as needed. - Establishing a positive work environment that encourages participation in process improvement and commitment to department/company success. - Completing corporate assignments as assigned.
