Senior Business Operations Specialist
Ivanti
• Performs system configuration and administration tasks in support of go‑to‑market business processes for assigned applications, with primary focus on Salesforce‑enabled revenue systems. • Owns documentation for assigned systems and/or system‑driven process mappings, including maintaining supporting materials and templates. • In addition to documentation, ensures delivery of tools and systems enablement across Business Operations teams, including demo recordings and train‑the‑trainer sessions. Manages requests from Business Operations teams for questions and issues related to assigned systems and system‑driven processes. • Acts as an approved IT requestor for system enhancements and projects, helping identify opportunities and capturing requirements from Business Operations stakeholders, defining acceptance criteria, and performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Oversees the lifecycle of changes to assigned go‑to‑market systems, including enhancements, expansion, and ongoing evolution of existing platforms. • Owns and supports Salesforce CPQ from a business operations perspective, focusing on the design, configuration, and ongoing evolution of quote‑to‑order workflows, system behavior, and approval frameworks that enable consistent revenue execution. • Acts as a subject matter expert for Salesforce Sales Cloud capabilities, including Territory Management and Forecasting, with ownership of how these capabilities are configured and used to support sales operations.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in Sales Operations for a SaaS or technology company operating globally, with significant exposure to revenue‑supporting systems.
- Experience in Renewal Operations or Channel Operations is a plus, particularly within a multi‑tier partner ecosystem.
- Proven track record of owning and evolving revenue systems and the processes they enable to drive measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience supporting change initiatives related to system enhancements, configuration changes, and cross‑functional workflow evolution.
- Practical experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ in a business operations context, including hands‑on exposure to territory management, forecasting, and pipeline management capabilities.
- Familiarity with Salesforce configuration concepts beyond a general end‑user level, including objects, fields, automation, and permissions.
- Experience writing and using SOQL queries to support analysis, troubleshooting, and insight into Salesforce data models and system behavior is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to assess, challenge, and improve system effectiveness and operational outcomes.
- High level of dependability and integrity; a collaborative team player who is also comfortable operating autonomously.
