Associate Director, Sales Training
Angi
• The Associate Director, Sales Training leads the strategy and execution of learning programs for sales representatives and sales managers. • This leader owns the end-to-end enablement experience—from new hire onboarding to advanced continuing education—ensuring that training delivery is effective, data-driven, and operationally aligned with financial and performance goals. • As a key leader in the Operations Performance Enablement function, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and field execution. • You will lead a team of trainers to accelerate rep speed-to-proficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement through AI-driven coaching and performance insights. • Act as a strategic partner to Sales and Recruiting leadership to align training capacity with hiring pipelines and business growth. • Design and lead a scalable delivery framework that covers the entire employee lifecycle, from initial onboarding to leadership development. • Drive specialized enablement programs for sales managers, focusing on coaching effectiveness and the adoption of AI-driven performance tools. • Establish and evolve SOPs for sales training, ensuring consistency across all programs including onboarding, upskilling, and certifications. • Oversee trainer capacity planning and the logistical execution of complex programs, ensuring seamless transitions for new hires and promoted staff.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in sales training or enablement, including proven experience leading managers or teams, with a track record of designing, executing, and scaling sales programs.
- Strong data and analytics capabilities, including experience with dashboarding and reporting tools, to measure program effectiveness and guide decisions.
- Expertise with Learning Management Systems to manage training delivery, learner progress, and compliance tracking.
- Proficiency with content authoring and training development tools to create engaging, scalable learning experiences.
- Highly resourceful and solutions-oriented, taking end-to-end ownership to deliver results while balancing strategy and execution, continuously improving processes, and adapting quickly in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and program management skills essential for driving results and team development.
