Job Description

Product Manager, Data & Analytics

Icario

• Own product discovery, requirements definition, prioritization, and delivery for data, analytics, reporting, and intelligence capabilities within Icario’s platform. • Partner closely with Engineering, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Architecture teams to define buildable requirements, clarify technical dependencies, and support execution. • Translate business, operational, client, and user needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow definitions, and success measures. • Prioritize product work based on business value, client impact, platform scalability, data quality, technical feasibility, and alignment to product strategy. • Support the evolution of Icario’s new platform by defining capabilities that improve data visibility, reporting accuracy, analytics usability, performance measurement, and decision-making. • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand current reporting and analytics pain points, workflow gaps, data dependencies, and opportunities for platform improvement. • Partner with Engineering to refine scope, sequence delivery, resolve ambiguity, and make informed tradeoff decisions throughout the product development lifecycle.

Job Requirements

  • 4–7 years of professional experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Data Product Manager, Platform Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or related role with strong product ownership exposure.
  • Experience working with data, analytics, reporting, platform products, data-driven workflows, or technical product capabilities.
  • Strong ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans.
  • Jira epics, stories, acceptance criteria, backlog hygiene, and delivery visibility for assigned product areas.
  • Confluence documentation for product requirements, decisions, workflows, reporting logic, release context, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Clear, buildable product artifacts that reduce ambiguity before work enters Engineering execution.
  • Experience partnering directly with Engineering, Data Engineering, Analytics, Architecture, QA, and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts such as data flows, integrations, APIs, reporting logic, data quality, configuration, rules, and platform dependencies.
  • Strong prioritization skills, with the ability to balance client needs, business value, technical complexity, risk, and platform scalability.
  • Experience managing a product backlog and driving execution through Agile or similar product development processes.
  • Comfort working with reporting tools, analytics platforms, data visualization, BI tools, data warehouses, or operational reporting systems.
  • Ability to use data to inform product decisions, measure success, and evaluate product performance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and creating structure where requirements, workflows, or ownership are unclear.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to influence through clarity, credibility, and strong product judgment.
  • Healthcare, health plan, payer technology, member engagement, rewards/incentives, surveys, care management, or regulated B2B SaaS experience preferred.
  • Experience with AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, personalization, automation, or decision-support products is a plus.

Benefits

  • 4+ weeks PTO, Summer PTO, and unlimited Health & Wellness PTO
  • Competitive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, disability, FSA, HSA, pet insurance, and more
  • Generous 401k program with company match

Simplifier AG

• Embed inside a Forward Deployed Experience Pod, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the client to learn the real workflow before you redesign it. • Own the workflow, KPIs, and alignment for your pod. Define success metrics with the executive sponsor at week one, then build until you hit them. Measure outcomes against KPIs, not features shipped. • Redesign the human experience around AI, not the other way around. • Break a complex business problem into composable, shippable work the pod can ship in days, not quarters. Production progress every day. • Work in your client's stack alongside the Forward Deployed Engineer and Forward Deployed Experience Designer in your pod. • Pair with the Valtech leadership and your client's executive sponsor(s) to clear the path in real time. Legal, compliance, architecture, risk, governance, internal politics. • Govern, secure, and measure outcomes from day one. AI in production demands real attention to evals, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop design. You own the framework that proves the solution works and keeps working after the pod rolls off. • Transfer ownership cleanly. By the end of the engagement, the domain expert is set up to run the solution long-term without the pod. Documentation, conventions, and the team rituals that sustain the change are part of what you ship. • Surface the next opportunity from inside the work. Embedded pods see what's broken next before anyone else does. You bring that signal back, so the pod earns its way into the next problem rather than waiting for procurement. • Contribute to the evolution of Valtech's FDE practice. Every pod is a learning loop. Share what works, what didn't, and the patterns that should harden into how we deploy across clients.
