Cloud Platform Engineer – Specialist

• Design, implement, and evolve cloud-native platforms aimed at accelerating software delivery at scale; • Develop and maintain an Internal Developer Platform (IDP), enabling secure and efficient self-service for development teams; • Create and evolve Golden Paths for standardized provisioning of applications, infrastructure, environments, and pipelines; • Administer and scale multi-cluster Kubernetes environments across multiple cloud providers, ensuring availability, security, and performance; • Implement and maintain GitOps practices using tools such as ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, and Kargo; • Automate infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Crossplane; • Develop and maintain reusable CI/CD templates, promoting standardization and governance of continuous delivery processes; • Implement and manage API Management and Service Mesh solutions for distributed environments and modern architectures; • Integrate authentication, authorization, and identity management mechanisms using modern IAM standards; • Define and disseminate security, governance, compliance standards, and best practices for cloud environments; • Build and evolve observability, monitoring, traceability, and troubleshooting solutions for platforms; • Participate in FinOps initiatives, monitoring and proposing cost optimizations in multi-cloud environments; • Lead modernization efforts for legacy applications toward cloud-native and microservices architectures; • Support development teams in adopting Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, and Developer Experience (DevEx) practices; • Serve as a technical reference for platform architecture, promoting continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and the definition of corporate standards.

Job Requirements

  • Strong experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or related areas;
  • Experience designing and evolving cloud-native platforms for the development and operation of large-scale applications;
  • Experience with Kubernetes in production environments, including cluster administration and operations;
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one public cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP);
  • Experience with GitOps using tools such as ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, or similar;
  • Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform;
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps;
  • Knowledge of containers, Docker, Helm, and the Kubernetes ecosystem;
  • Experience with authentication and authorization using protocols such as OAuth2, OIDC, and RBAC;
  • Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting for distributed applications and platforms;
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and environment provisioning;
  • Knowledge of security, governance, and compliance best practices in cloud environments;
  • Ability to act in a consultative manner with multidisciplinary teams;
  • Excellent communication, systems thinking, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Preferred: Experience with Backstage and building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP); knowledge of Crossplane and declarative provisioning of cloud resources; experience with Kong Gateway, Istio, and Service Mesh; experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, and GCP); knowledge of FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization; experience with Keycloak and advanced Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions; previous involvement in application modernization and digital transformation initiatives; knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevSecOps; certifications related to Azure, Kubernetes, Cloud Architecture, or DevOps; experience in technical leadership, defining architectural standards, and mentoring teams.
