• Design, develop, and support Azure Durable Functions utilizing orchestrator and activity patterns. • Build and maintain solutions using .NET 8 (Isolated Worker) and distributed processing architectures. • Modernize existing automation processes by converting legacy PowerShell-based workloads into scalable, stateless Azure Functions. • Implement event-driven architectures leveraging Azure Event Hubs and related Azure services. • Develop high-performance data ingestion pipelines utilizing watermark-based change detection, parallel processing, and scalable ingestion patterns. • Support the migration of legacy data processing systems to Azure-based cloud infrastructure. • Contribute to the design and implementation of modern cloud-native data processing solutions. • Analyze and optimize existing workflows to improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency. • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define future-state cloud data platform capabilities. • Design and implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance frameworks. • Develop parallel-run validation strategies to ensure accuracy during modernization efforts. • Build comprehensive observability solutions including logging, monitoring, telemetry, and alerting. • Implement robust error handling, retry mechanisms, and operational support processes using Azure Application Insights and related monitoring tools. • Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server solutions including stored procedures, queries, and database performance tuning. • Troubleshoot complex database performance issues and implement scalable solutions. • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across integrated systems. • Evaluate downstream dependencies including reports, integrations, data feeds, and business applications. • Partner with technical and business teams to ensure successful solution delivery. • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions. • Document solutions, processes, and technical standards. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering resources, including offshore development teams when applicable. • Coordinate development activities across distributed teams and promote engineering best practices, code quality standards, and knowledge sharing. • Encourage the effective use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot (or similar) to accelerate code generation, documentation, testing, and engineering productivity.

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including multi-stage deployment and environment promotion (Dev/Test/UAT/Prod) • Deploy and manage Azure infrastructure using Bicep, including Function Apps, Key Vault, and App Configuration • Implement secure authentication and access patterns using Managed Identity and Azure Key Vault • Manage environment configuration and deployment strategies across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments • Establish monitoring, alerting, and operational readiness using Azure-native tools (e.g., Application Insights, Log Analytics) • Support and maintain hybrid cloud connectivity between Azure and on-prem systems (e.g., SQL Server) • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to ensure best practices in DevOps, security, and scalability • Troubleshoot deployment, performance, and infrastructure issues across environments

• Design and implement modern data platforms using Databricks and Microsoft Fabric • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks • Develop and optimize Spark and PySpark workloads within Databricks • Implement lakehouse and data warehouse architectures • Design and manage data models supporting analytics and reporting • Collaborate with data scientists and analytics teams to support AI and advanced analytics initiatives • Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering team members • Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of data platforms

• Stand up a greenfield GitHub Enterprise Cloud environment and define scalable org/team/repo governance. • Establish practical standards (repo setup, branching, PR controls, lifecycle management) that support secure innersource collaboration. • Integrate with Azure Entra for SSO and enforce enterprise authentication and least privilege RBAC models. • Implement enterprise policies and audit logging/monitoring patterns to support oversight and compliance. • Reconnect or build a development + production pipeline aligned with secure SDLC practices and platform guardrails. • Plan and execute migration of one selected repository into GitHub Enterprise Cloud and validate integrity, permissions, and pipeline functionality. • Enable GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) (code scanning, secret scanning, dependency review/policies) and define basic governance/triage expectations. • Enable GitHub Copilot and deliver a structured remote Copilot Hackathon experience for a small developer group. • Produce clear architecture/governance documentation and lead knowledge transfer so the client can operate the platform post engagement.

• Lead design and implementation of Microsoft Purview capabilities across enterprise data sources. • Configure Data Map & Unified Catalog, including data scanning, classifications, lineage, business glossary, and metadata management. • Create Custom Sensitive Information Types (SITs) including but not limited to RegEx, Fingerprinting, Exact Data Matching, and Trainable Classifiers. • Build and deploy sensitivity labels, auto labeling, and custom sensitive info types for both structured and unstructured content. • Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across M365, endpoint, and cloud applications, with tuning, testing, and incident workflows. • Establish Records Management and retention policies, including regulatory records, retention labels, and disposition review. • Configure Insider Risk Management, including policies, indicators, roles, and investigation processes. • Deploy and manage eDiscovery (Standard & Premium), including case setup, holds, review sets, search, and exports. • Integrate Purview capabilities with Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Endpoint, and Entra ID P2 (PIM, Conditional Access, Identity Governance). • Automate and report using PowerShell, KQL, and Microsoft Graph. • Produce high-quality documentation, runbooks, and training for customer teams. • Provide advisory support and roadmap planning to help customers adopt and operationalize Purview capabilities.
