Business Operations Associate
Visit.org
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, shadowing, and workshops to understand current workflows and pain points • Map and document end-to-end processes (handoffs, ownership, tooling, and dependencies) • Analyze operational data to quantify inefficiencies, errors, cycle times, and cost drivers • Perform root-cause analysis and prioritize improvement opportunities based on impact vs effort • Design redesigned workflows, SOPs, and operating playbooks that improve scalability and reliability • Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements and implement automation or tooling improvements • Lead rollout of new processes, including training, communication, and change management • Monitor adoption and compliance, addressing resistance and refining processes as needed • Measure post-implementation performance against baseline metrics and report outcomes • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, dashboards, and ongoing optimization initiatives
Job Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in operations, business analysis, consulting, project management, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience conducting interviews, gathering requirements, or mapping processes
- Ability to manage projects from concept through implementation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing without authority
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
