National Account Manager - Managed Convenience

Role Description The National Account Manager – Managed Convenience is the primary customer interface for our partners responsible for leading the negotiations and the development of account specific strategic and tactical plans, across Beer and Softs categories to deliver financial targets and distribution, execution and share targets. The role has 1 direct report. - Build a customer specific strategic plan for key customers. - Work collaboratively to ensure that customers have tailored annual plans that deliver against the channel financial goals and brand execution goals in line with the Managed Convenience 9 Box Grid. - Collaborate with customers to build best in class partnerships that deliver the plan and ensure flawless execution at outlet level. - Develop, negotiate and execute a strong annual JBP with key customers, in line with internal Governance processes. - Deploy the WAMOC plan (winning at the moments of choice) and feed flex requirements back to the planning teams. - Accountable for the modelling, delivery and execution of cost price increases, including negotiation / objection handling associated with the proposed changes. - Work with the Supply Chain collaboration manager to ensure accurate forecasting of customer volumes. - Build and lead a broad and deep customer contact strategy to identify and capitalise on further business opportunities. - Pro-actively track performance of accounts, implementing course correct tactics as necessary. Qualifications - Strong commercial acumen to enable development of strong JBPs and tailored account plans. - Understanding and confidence with P&L management and ownership. - Strong persuasive selling and negotiation skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills. - A highly developed influencing style, comfortable with constructively challenging and being challenged. - Proficient in priority setting, planning and time management. Requirements - Accountable for the P&L of key accounts across Softs and Beer. - Administer allocated budgets ensuring that money is spent in line with guidelines. - Manage responsibilities and associated business processes using recognised CRM tools (e.g., Xtel, Promax, Anaplan).
