Regional Sales Manager

VAC Magnetics LLC

Role Description As a key member of the VAC Magnetics LLC Sales team, the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) reports to the Director of Sales and Customer Service, Americas and is responsible for developing relationships and driving sales with key customers in the defined target market segments to meet revenue and profit objectives for the organization. The RSM works closely with the functional areas of Global Marketing, Global Engineering and Global Manufacturing and other key stakeholders as needed. The RSM creates and maintains close relationships with key customers to drive targeted sales that support our global strategy and financial goals and works to exceed customers’ expectations. The position requires frequent travel within the Americas (including Canada) for customer and company meetings and occasionally to Europe. This position will work from home and can be based in Chicago, IL or Minneapolis, MN. - Develop, manage and grow territorial business consistent with the goals of the company, region and the business divisions of VAC Magnetics LLC. - Leverage industry expertise, customer application knowledge and a keen understanding of the VAC value proposition to develop trusted relationships with key customers. - Assume contract responsibility (terms and conditions), development agreements and manage price negotiations. - Develop relationships with critical ecosystem partners including OEM’s and other allied supply partners. - Provide excellent customer service while establishing new customers and growing existing customers. - Identify new territorial and market growth opportunities. - Evaluate new customers and/or new projects together with team management. - Provide product managers and senior management with up to date information on market trends, competitor products, pricing and other market information. - Prepare and propose a multi-year annual budget for assigned territory. - Represent VAC at trade shows and conferences in territory as needed. - Work with distributors as needed to enhance territorial customer service. - Confer with customer purchasing and engineering to assess needs and opportunities. - Promote and sell VAC products requiring technical expertise for design in and use by new and existing customers. - Prepare and deliver commercial and technical presentations for specific customers and markets, including RFQ proposal responses. - Collaborate with Product Marketing and Application Engineering to determine needs and recommend support for specific customer developments. - Ensure that Export Control processes are completed consistent with VAC procedures. - Track customer visits and customer development in the Salesforce CRM database. - Demonstrate personal effectiveness and leadership that creates a culture of high performance; nurture an environment consistent with the VAC values and culture. - Handle special projects as required. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - BA/BS in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field. - 7-10 years of experience in Sales with proven record of accomplishment growing revenue and profit over targets; Sales Management experience preferred. - Exceptional record of accomplishment of developing, implementing and analyzing strategic business (competitive), marketing and sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives, providing personal leadership through example. - Proven record of accomplishment of developing customer relationships and becoming a trusted advisor to the customer’s business preferred. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with experience in communicating and working with a remote region. - Proven ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies along with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team-oriented environment. - Fluent in English, German beneficial but not required. - Previous experience selling to Automotive or Aerospace highly desirable. Requirements - Travel Requirements: Up to 60% travel through the Americas (including Canada and Europe occasionally). - Ability to work remotely from a home office.

Qualifications - Proven experience in benefits administration with direct responsibility for supporting employee benefit inquiries. - Client services experience within a benefits administration environment (not general client support). - Hands-on experience working within client-specific benefits systems and tools, including enrollment platforms, case management systems, and related workflows. - Strong understanding of employee benefits programs, enrollment processes, and issue resolution best practices. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with both employees and client stakeholders. - High degree of professionalism and polish, particularly when supporting executive-level contacts. - Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced client environment. - Strong relationship-building skills with internal partners and external clients. - Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues, escalate appropriately, and follow through to resolution. transitions. • Track A/R for assigned clients and escalate to appropriate parties. • Regular status reports to internal management. • Knowledge of Lease Administration scope of services, master service agreement and intercompany contractual review and development in partnership with Colliers legal, risk and security teams. • Develop and maintain tracking method for team workloads and assignments and provide refreshed gearing annually. • Review and validate team allocations and alignment to contractual scope of work and client’s expectations. • Manage team workloads ensuring equitable distribution. • Develop roadmap to streamline and enhance transition program delivery. • Lead key program initiatives such as Best Practice tracking, Case Study Development, AI partnership with Technology, Global COE Partnerships, etc. • Conduct post transition Lessons Learned to help inform and implement process improvements for future transitions. • Other duties as assigned.
