Technical Claims Specialist — Claims/Insurance
Sedgwick
• Help people whose homes have been damaged by an incident • Independently handle and settle property and liability claims with a focus on building damage (building construction and civil engineering) • Conduct on-site inspections and damage assessments • Independently prepare expert reports, assessments and statements • Coordinate and liaise with all relevant parties (insurers, policyholders, service providers, experts, etc.) • Ensure quality- and customer-oriented claims handling
Job Requirements
- Completed degree in engineering (e.g., civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering)
- Vocational qualification as a state-certified technician or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in one of the above fields
- Solid knowledge of building damage
- Good knowledge of building construction and civil engineering is an advantage
- Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Independent and structured working style
- Strong communication skills and customer orientation
- Valid driving license (Class B)
