• Independently execute on clearly defined product requirements with minimal direction • Translate well-framed problems into build-ready UX that Engineering can confidently implement • Design user flows, states, and interaction details in Figma at the appropriate fidelity for the active Design Mode • Ensure designs meet established quality bars for clarity, completeness, and usability • Work within an existing or evolving design system and follow established patterns • Proactively identify gaps, edge cases, and assumptions—and resolve or escalate them appropriately • Partner closely with Engineering to unblock implementation while minimizing back-and-forth • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly and proactively • Document designs and decisions to support smooth handoff and long-term continuity

• Own experience quality across Cherry's consumer and provider surfaces, including web applications, checkout flows, provider onboarding and acquisition funnels, the provider portal, and our connected rewards ecosystem • Lead design personally on the most complex and ambiguous problems, particularly in provider acquisition where clarity, persuasion, and conversion are critical • Design and maintain cohesive cross-experience journeys, reducing friction between consumer-facing, provider-facing, and internal surfaces • Set and enforce quality standards through direction, critique, and your own example • Act as the primary design partner to group-level Product leadership, co-owning experience strategy and roadmap prioritization • Identify design risk early, proactively adjusting scope, sequencing, or staffing before problems compound • Balance short-term execution needs with longer-term experience coherence and scalability • Influence decisions across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing without relying on formal authority • Manage and develop a small team of Senior to Staff-level designers (up to three reports) • Hire thoughtfully, finding designers who raise the ceiling, not just fill seats • Coach through real work: design reviews, pairing sessions, and direct feedback that moves people forward • Build a team culture where craft is the expectation, not the exception

• Own the full design system: Figma component library, React component codebase, interaction patterns, tokens, and documentation • Write, ship, and maintain production React code with strong code hygiene, testing practices, and clear architecture • Define the interaction and visual design language for Cherry's component library, ensuring every component is crafted with precision • Build components that are robust, flexible, and scalable, enabling teams to ship cohesive experiences without reinventing patterns • Work fluently across design and engineering tools, including Figma or Pencil, and AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex • Bridge the gap between design and engineering workflows, ensuring the system works seamlessly in both environments • Establish workflows that allow the design system to evolve quickly while maintaining quality and consistency • Build toward a future where every team at Cherry can prototype rapidly using production-ready components • Partner closely with our front-end engineering team in Turkey on component architecture, implementation, and code review • Work with the broader engineering org to ensure components are easy to adopt, well-documented, and production-ready • Serve the product design team as their primary design system partner, understanding what they need and guiding them in how to use and contribute to the system • Enable product designers to work within the system confidently, making changes and building with components rather than working around them • Own the strategy for how Cherry's design system scales, both the component library and the processes around it • Define the roadmap for new components, pattern evolution, and system-level improvements • Ensure the system reduces experience risk across all five products, so that using Cherry's components naturally produces cohesive, high-quality output regardless of the surface • Advocate for the long-term health of the system, balancing team requests with architectural integrity and scalability
