Job Requirements
- You have a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience;
- You bring at least 5 years of experience working in software engineering with relevant programming experience;
- Proficient in .NET backend development, including technologies such as Kafka (or equivalents), AWS, Docker, ECS/Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, Claude Code) to accelerate development, troubleshoot code, and generate documentation;
- A growth mindset toward continuously exploring new AI technologies that can positively impact our engineering culture and delivery pipeline.
- Nice to have: Experience applying Kafka for real-time processing, leveraging AWS/Docker for DevOps workflows, or performing PostgreSQL optimizations.
- You know how to break down large epics into smaller issues;
- You worked with the concepts of IaaS/ PaaS/ SaaS;
- You worked extensively with microservices-based architecture and used asynchronous message-based communication;
- You communicate fluently in English; German and any other languages are always welcomed;

We do not anticipate individuals hired into this position will start at or near the top half of the range listed; the decision will be based on each individual case.
