Senior Project Development Manager

Role Description We are looking for a Senior Project Development Manager to lead the development of wind farms, solar projects, and battery energy storage facilities in Central Eastern Europe (with focus on Poland). The role includes managing a team of development project managers, and the ideal candidate should possess significant experience in the development of renewable energy projects in the above territories. The role will report to the Head of the Europe Project Development Department. - Managing a team of 2-3 project development managers responsible for the development of greenfield and mature wind, solar and battery energy storage projects in Poland up to Ready-To-Build (RTB). - Leading all development related verticals, including securing land rights, permitting and interconnection. - Integrating and managing all local interfaces within the target countries, including local developers, engineering firms, legal advisors, consultants and partners, regulatory and governmental institutions, transmission and distribution operators, funding bodies and contractors. - Managing all internal interfaces within the company and the HQ, including Engineering, Financing, Procurement. Providing progress and status reports to management. - Schedule and budget management. - Monitoring and reporting relevant regulation changes and new regulation updates. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MBA/M.Sc. – an advantage. - At least 12 years of relevant experience in the renewables sector. - Experience in working in the following countries: Poland (mandatory), Germany & Romania (an advantage). - Demonstrated and proven success in leading teams and coordinating work assignments in accordance with project timelines. - Willingness to travel within Europe, and occasionally to Israel. - Experience working for an international company – an advantage. - High level of English (technical, speaking, reading and writing) – a must. Additional languages – an advantage. - High motivation, excellent interpersonal skills, independent working capabilities. - Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
