Role Description As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be tasked with contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of our core observability systems, working on small-to-medium features from technical design through completion. Working collaboratively with your team, you will build robust solutions for data collection and analysis to boost our engineering teams' operational visibility. In this role, you will leverage standard procedures to support how SentinelOne monitors its own solutions while learning from senior colleagues. What Will You Do? - Core Feature Delivery: Understand the design of features being implemented, and independently design and implement well-defined features or components for diverse environments spanning Kubernetes clusters and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP). - Service Efficiency: Contribute to the operational efficiency of our observability services (such as Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, and OTEL) by completing assigned tasks and learning to balance system reliability with scale and cost-effectiveness. - Automation & Toil Reduction: Build and enhance basic automation tools and write scripts to automate operations and server management tasks under the guidance of senior engineers. - Code Quality: Write functional, clean code and unit tests with guidance, executing tests for scale, reliability, and velocity while participating in code reviews to understand team best practices. - Project Management: Estimate time to complete assignments, proactively communicate status, blockers, or delays, and work towards understanding your team's broader business objectives using agile engineering practices. - Operations & On-Call: Participate in on-call rotations, monitor and triage incident reports, and participate in postmortems, following existing runbooks closely before escalating issues. - Security & Compliance: Apply security standards, policies, and change management processes when deploying code into live environments, reporting vulnerabilities to senior team members. Qualifications - Foundational knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts within infrastructure, with exposure to current technologies through coursework, internships, or practical experience. - A strong aptitude to learn and existing exposure to observability technologies such as Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos/Mimir, or OTEL. - Familiarity with container orchestration systems like Kubernetes and multi-cloud environments (AWS and GCP). - Basic scripting skills and exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible. - Ability to write functional, clean code, with exposure to or a strong interest in mastering GoLang, alongside foundational debugging and troubleshooting skills. - Understanding of the software development lifecycle, modern CI/CD principles, and agile engineering practices. Role Description Responsible for the design, migration, administration, and support of the enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform, including Axway SecureTransport in both on-premises and cloud environments. This role ensures secure, scalable, and highly available file transfer services, with a strong focus on cloud transformation and AWS-based infrastructure.
