Role Description JAT Pharmacy is seeking a MyVetStoreOnline Sales Specialist. This is a remote position and the ideal candidate will reside in Iowa, central Illinois, or Missouri. Job Summary: - Sell JAT Pharmacy’s home delivery platform, MyVetStoreOnline, to veterinary practices. - Qualify each clinic through pre-call planning in collaboration with the Midwest Veterinary Supply (“MVS”) sales team. - Work with clinics to grow their business by educating and training them on the value MyVetStoreOnline offers. Essential Job Functions: - Prospect clinics to sell MyVetStoreOnline. - Use consultative selling techniques during clinic visits to present the MyVetStoreOnline platform and toolset. - Provide live demonstrations of the solutions to decision makers and clinic staff. - Represent JAT Pharmacy at industry trade shows and other strategic selling events. - Host dinner meetings to educate clinics about MyVetStoreOnline. - Collaborate with the MVS Outside Sales Representative, Inside Sales Representative, and MyVetStoreOnline Accounts team to set and review sales goals. - Communicate with practices to review pricing strategies and marketing opportunities. - Responsible for sales closes and timely clinic enrollment in MyVetStoreOnline programs. - Document key interactions with decision makers and clinic staff. - Provide on-site setup and training of the solutions for the clinic. - Make regular follow-up calls to ensure proper utilization of MyVetStoreOnline. - Participate in bi-weekly department conference calls to review sales targets and performance goals. - Manage and submit expense account to corporate within a two-week time frame. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - A High School Diploma or Equivalency required. - A four-year college degree is preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Veterinary Sales, Marketing, or Animal Health Industry required. - Experience with online ordering preferred. - Experience with web-based commerce platforms preferred. - Ability to read, write, and speak English. - Ability to speak in public to small and large groups. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals. - Microsoft software experience (Excel & Word). - AS/400 Client Access experience preferred. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and professional sales techniques. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask. - Ability to work with corporate office to achieve mutual goals. - Must be self-motivated and able to work independently. - Must have a valid driver’s license.
