Liferay Developer – Mid-level

• Develop and maintain solutions using Liferay DXP/Portal 7.x; • Create and maintain MVC portlets (MVCPortlet), OSGi modules, and custom components; • Develop solutions using Service Builder; • Customize themes, layouts, and fragments; • Configure workflows, CMS and permission controls on the Liferay platform; • Develop and consume REST APIs and integrate systems via REST and SOAP services; • Develop solutions using Java 8+ and the Spring Framework; • Perform evolutionary maintenance, incident resolution, and performance optimization; • Integrate with corporate and legacy systems; • Develop queries and participate in relational database modeling; • Use version control, build, and continuous integration tools; • Participate in agile ceremonies, technical refinements, and delivery planning; • Apply development best practices, documentation, and code review;

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience developing and supporting solutions using Liferay DXP/Portal 7.x;
  • Knowledge of developing MVC Portlets (MVCPortlet);
  • Experience with OSGi modules and Service Builder;
  • Knowledge of workflows, CMS and permission management in Liferay;
  • Proficient in Java 8+;
  • Familiarity with the Spring Framework;
  • Experience creating and consuming REST APIs; integrations via REST and SOAP;
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap;
  • Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle databases;
  • Knowledge of SQL and data modeling;
  • Experience with Git, Maven and Gradle;
  • Liferay, Java or web development certifications.
