Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in backend software development using Java 8 or above - Full stack development experience with proficiency across backend and frontend technologies (Angular or React) - Strong proficiency with Spring Boot and the Spring framework ecosystem - Hands-on experience designing and implementing RESTful microservices - Proficiency in writing optimized SQL queries and working with databases - Working knowledge of Apache Kafka or similar messaging platforms - Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, message-driven systems, and distributed systems - Good understanding of Docker, orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins for automated build and deployment - Experience with Git, Agile development practices, and Cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) - Hands-on experience with AI code companions and intelligent development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, JetBrains AI Assistant, or similar platforms) - Strong English communication skills; German language skills are a plus.
