Role Description We are seeking an experienced, driven and flexible High Voltage Project Manager to support the delivery of a portfolio of High Voltage Field Testing projects. This remote UK-based role requires a proven professional with strong technical understanding of electricity distribution and transmission, capable of managing multiple projects across the full lifecycle. The Project Manager is accountable for achieving project performance metrics, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery, and providing effective project governance. The role supports UK projects with occasional involvement in a wider European project portfolio, and works closely with Directors, Operations Leads, and clients. This position offers a strong opportunity to contribute to business growth and provide leadership within the organization, reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager. Key Responsibilities - Lead and promote a strong health, safety, and quality culture, ensuring compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and mandated tools. - Manage a portfolio of High Voltage projects, taking full accountability for scope, schedule, cost, and performance metrics. - Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities, including resource allocation (staff and equipment), cost control, risk management, and reporting. - Support the development and oversee project documentation, including Risk Assessment Method Statements, Testing and Commissioning Plans, and project programmes. - Coordinate logistics and shipment of equipment to site as required. - Proactively identify, escalate, and manage risks, opportunities, and variances, challenging assumptions and estimates where necessary. - Work with finance, sales, and administration teams to support invoices, budget forecasting, and cost management. - Maintain accurate internal and external project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. - Host and lead internal and external meetings, including project kickoff and stakeholder reviews. - Track project progress to ensure readiness for execution and timely delivery of all deliverables. - Manage project closure activities, lessons learned, cost of poor quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Optimise cost efficiency and identify opportunities for cost reduction where appropriate. - Ensure client follow-up post-delivery to measure satisfaction and support repeat business. - Work collaboratively with both our customers and supply chain, operating as cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives, requirements and deliverables. - Drive continuous improvement by implementing innovative Engineering practices, solutions and technologies. - Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. - Guide and support team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Qualifications - Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline (preferred). - Relevant field experience is advantageous. - Experience in business or project administration is essential. Requirements - Demonstrable experience delivering projects as a Project Manager within the UK. - Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Sound commercial awareness with a clear understanding of project, financial, and business performance metrics. - Experience operating within established governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. - Strategic mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Proven capability in risk and opportunity management across complex project portfolios. - Experience with project planning and resource management tools (including SAP and Microsoft Project). - Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards. - Proficient in written and spoken English. - Willingness and ability to travel within Europe.

Role Description We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Senior Project Manager. This is a full-time, term-limited role expected to last through one year. While the position term is anticipated to conclude at that time, there may be an opportunity for extension depending on program/business needs, funding availability, and demonstrated performance. The Senior Project Manager supports the Humanitarian Services (HS) Project Management Office (PMO) and manages complex, medium-sized projects with moderate resource requirements and risk initiated at the senior management level. Will be expected to guide project team and senior leadership through all phases including concept, development, implementation, and closeout. Under minimal guidance, the Senior Project Manager ensures that the project plan, scope, work breakdown structure, schedule, risk, budget, and deliverables are in alignment with the project goal and objectives as defined by the project statement of work. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations. This position reports to and works to perform these functions according to the direction provided by the Director, Strategic Planning, who also provides personnel development. Position works in a matrixed environment along with other employee and volunteer project managers. The work location for this position is 100% virtual/work from home. While the position can be worked from anywhere in the United States, occasional flexibility is required to meet east-coast schedules. Key Responsibilities - Oversee project team members’ milestones and performance as compared to project plan, scope, budget, resources, and schedule. Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively. - Communicate project progress and information to senior sponsors, stakeholders, and field as appropriate. - Facilitate executive steering committees and status updates. - Develop and prepare written project plans for complex projects addressing tasks, roles and responsibilities, risk, resources, budget and communications. - Develop work breakdown structure and perform critical path analysis. - Manage the change control within project, obtaining sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget and schedule that affect the critical path. - Acquire a project charter from senior management and obtain sign off on the statement of work by the project sponsor. - Ensure that scope, budget, and schedule targets are within variance and project delivery date is met. - Navigate ambiguity in relationships across multiple departments to successfully bring people together when needed for project success. - Coaching project team on how to use PM methodology, templates, and tools. As part of the HS PMO (Humanitarian Services Project Management Office) - Support portfolio-level planning and resource allocation. - Provide input into business case development and prioritization. - Help define and implement PMO processes, templates, and tools; and contribute to the development of project governance frameworks. - Provide and promote project management best practices throughout Humanitarian Services. - Collaborate within the Humanitarian Service PMO office to ensure there are clearly defined project dependency and interdependencies, lessons learned library, and monitoring risks spanning multiple projects. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required. - PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required. - Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. - Volunteer management experience preferred. - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to develop project plans, budgets, and strategies to achieve organizational goals. - Proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. - Ability to work on a remote team. - Some travel may be required.
