Role Description As part of our dealer channel expansion, the Dealer Activation Manager, Dealer Channel will grow Caramel’s independent dealer base, deepen relationships with producing dealers, and advance our dealer-focused product strategy. This role reports to the Manager, Dealer Sales, works closely with the Dealer Account Executive team, and partners with the Head of Dealer Services. It is a home-based position with travel for field selling, dealer visits, and industry conferences. - Acquire and activate new independent dealers across assigned territories, delivering measurable growth in quarterly dealer sign-ups and faster ramp to first transactions. - Re-engage lapsed partners and expand producing dealer relationships to increase repeat business, territory coverage, and wallet share. - Build a high-quality pipeline through disciplined outbound outreach and in-person visits; accelerate conversion with tailored discovery, demos, and closing conversations. - Deliver compelling demos that quantify Caramel’s value: streamlined financing, documentation, and title/DMV workflows that enable safer, faster transactions nationwide. - Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene to improve forecast accuracy, pipeline visibility, and conversion insights; share structured feedback to refine messaging, scripts, and playbooks. - Represent Caramel at dealer events and industry conferences to generate event-driven pipeline, gather market intelligence, and inform product enhancements and competitive positioning. Qualifications - 2–5+ years of B2B sales experience with proven outbound prospecting, territory management, and end-to-end pipeline conversion; automotive, auto finance, or dealership experience preferred. - Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office, with a disciplined approach to data, dashboards, and forecasting. - Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with internal collaborators and dealer partners. - High ownership, organization, and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment; willingness to travel for field selling, dealer visits, and conferences. - Understanding of compliance and licensing requirements, with the ability to stay current on state-specific motor vehicle sales regulations and dealership practices. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Benefits - The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below: - Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. - The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). - Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. - If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. - Remote roles are not eligible for U.S. visa sponsorship.
