Operations Analyst

ISG

• Support the end-to-end operational execution of audit engagements across all service lines (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, CMMC, HITRUST, FedRAMP). • Manage engagement setup, intake tracking, and workflow coordination in internal project management systems. • Monitor engagement milestones, flag timeline risks, and assist in resource and deadline tracking. • Coordinate across audit teams to ensure timely delivery of client-facing and internal deliverables. • Support client onboarding logistics, including system access setup and documentation preparation. • Identify and document operational bottlenecks and recommend actionable process improvements. • Assist in maintaining and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, and documentation repositories. • Support internal quality control reviews to ensure deliverable consistency with firm standards. • Contribute to the rollout of operational process changes and new tools across delivery teams. • Collect, organize, and maintain operational data for internal reporting and leadership dashboards. • Track key operational KPIs including engagement utilization, project timelines, and team capacity. • Prepare regular status reports and ad hoc analyses for the Director of Operations and senior leadership. • Maintain data integrity across internal systems and ensure records are current and accurate. • Maintain and update internal tools including project tracking platforms (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com) and collaboration systems. • Provide operational support for compliance automation platforms (e.g., Vanta, Drata, Secureframe). • Assist in the evaluation and adoption of new technologies that enhance team efficiency. • Serve as a liaison between audit delivery, client success, HR, and finance teams to support coordinated operations. • Support special projects and strategic initiatives as directed by Operations leadership. • Contribute to internal training materials, onboarding documentation, and knowledge base content.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, audit support, or a related role.
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, audit, or a compliance-adjacent environment strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC, PCI DSS) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; experience with project management tools (Asana, Jira, or equivalent).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Analytical mindset — comfortable working with data, building reports, and identifying trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-oriented work style.
  • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential client and organizational information.
