Manager, Construction Procurement

CoreSite

• Manage project management of all aspects of Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) Equipment and corresponding supply chains pertinent to Coresite’s active construction projects • Manage the procurement and delivery process from start to finish • Write RFP’s, negotiate deals and contracts with vendors, review/manage equipment submittals, delivery tracking, build and maintain complex project budgets, and evaluate data center equipment designs • Manage numerous projects simultaneously; regular teamwork and coordination with external supply chain partners and internal teams such as Construction, Accounting, Operations, and Legal • Autonomously drive equipment submittals from inception to completion • Manage electrical single-line diagrams, mechanical riser diagrams, and product specifications for multiple projects • Competitively bid and procure various types of mechanical and electrical equipment • Serve as the primary liaison between supply chain partners and internal stakeholders • Maintain and develop supplier relationships, negotiating the best-landed price with primary and secondary vendors • Support the negotiation of complex requests for equipment and services from suppliers and subcontractors • Analyze project schedules to determine on-site equipment delivery dates and ensure timely delivery • Schedule and coordinate on-site start-up and commissioning support services from vendors • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure transparency of specifications and operational requirements • Maintain complex project budgets, ensuring all purchases are appropriately costed to a project • Support Finance and Accounting teams with invoicing issues, cash flow forecasts, and budget reconciliation • Manage and support equipment inventory planning efforts and forecasting • Work closely with engineering and sales teams to address client requests and design changes • Coordinate the approval and release of necessary equipment according to the construction schedule • Drive project-level tasks and milestones assigned by the construction project management team • Write RFPs and negotiate deals and contracts with vendors • Handle additional duties as assigned by Management • Promote and demonstrate the behaviors consistent with CoreSite’s culture and core values • Assist in developing the department’s road-map to be able to scale with the company’s growth and expansion

Job Requirements
