Role Description This role requires the candidate to work in Indonesia (Work From Anywhere). The Sales Manager – Indonesia will be responsible for developing and expanding the company's residential energy storage business across the Indonesian market. This role focuses on: - Identifying new business opportunities - Acquiring distributors - Building long-term channel partnerships - Driving sales growth for residential ESS products and smart energy solutions The successful candidate will manage the complete B2B sales cycle, including: - Market mapping and customer acquisition - Commercial negotiations - Contract execution - Order management - Ongoing account development Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute sales strategies to expand residential energy storage products throughout Indonesia. - Establish and manage a structured distributor pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and prioritizing potential channel partners. - Identify key decision-makers within distributors, EPC companies, electrical wholesalers, renewable energy companies, and strategic customers. - Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, commercial negotiations, and business development activities. - Present product value propositions and align technical solutions with customer requirements. - Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, sample coordination, and distributor onboarding. - Manage the complete sales cycle, including first orders, repeat business, delivery coordination, and after-sales relationship management. - Build long-term relationships with distributors and key accounts to ensure sustainable business growth. - Monitor market developments, competitor activities, customer requirements, and renewable energy industry trends. - Coordinate closely with headquarters regarding sales performance, customer feedback, pricing strategy, and market intelligence. - Achieve annual sales targets while continuously expanding the company's channel network throughout Indonesia. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Engineering, or related disciplines. - Indonesian citizen with the legal right to work in Indonesia. - Minimum 3–5 years of B2B sales experience within residential energy storage (ESS), solar energy, renewable energy, electrical products, battery systems, or related industries. - Proven track record of successfully acquiring and developing new major customers and distributor partnerships. - Strong understanding of residential energy storage systems, lithium battery technology, smart inverters, and related renewable energy products. - Existing network with distributors, EPC companies, electrical wholesalers, solar installers, or renewable energy solution providers is highly preferred. - Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills. - Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently manage regional market expansion. - Professional proficiency in English for business communication. - Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred to facilitate communication and coordination with headquarters. - Willingness to travel extensively across Indonesia to support customer development and distributor management.
