Role Description This role requires the candidate to work in Hungary (Work From Anywhere). The Country Manager – Hungary will be responsible for leading the company's residential energy storage business across the Hungarian market. This role focuses on building and managing distributor channels, developing strategic customer relationships, and driving long-term business growth for residential ESS products. Acting as the commercial lead for Hungary, the successful candidate will oversee the complete distributor development process, including: - Market mapping - Customer acquisition - Business negotiations - Contract execution - Order management - Ongoing channel development Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree or above. - Chinese candidates with permanent residency in Hungary are preferred. Foreign candidates must be able to communicate effectively in Mandarin. - Strong understanding of residential energy storage products and related technologies. - Proven experience in B2B sales, distributor development, or channel management within the residential energy storage or renewable energy industry. - Excellent business negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. - Strong commercial mindset with the ability to understand business logic and independently manage regional market development. - Preferred candidates possess approximately 5–15 years of professional working experience after university graduation. - Fluent in Hungarian for business communication. Mandarin proficiency is required for communication and coordination with headquarters. - Based in Hungary with a home-based working arrangement and willingness to travel for customer meetings as required. Requirements - Build and manage a structured distributor pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and prioritizing potential channel partners across the Hungarian market. - Identify key decision-makers, conduct customer visits, and present the company's products and value proposition while understanding customer requirements. - Lead commercial negotiations, contract execution, sample coordination, and follow-up activities to maximize customer conversion. - Manage the complete order lifecycle, including first orders, repeat business, delivery coordination, and ongoing distributor relationship management. - Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with distributors and strategic customers to support sustainable market growth. - Coordinate closely with headquarters regarding customer feedback, commercial opportunities, and business development progress. - Expand market coverage by continuously identifying new sales opportunities and strengthening the company's distributor ecosystem. - Achieve business growth objectives while ensuring effective daily channel management across the Hungarian market.
