Mid-level Product Owner

Valtech

• Work with internal and external customers to analyze needs and align the product roadmap with strategic goals. • Own the product roadmap. • Define scope and create backlog items (epics, features, user stories) to guide the Agile software development team. • Resolve product-related issues, make decisions, and perform trade-off analyses to stay on track with business deliverables. • Draft key objectives and results, define strategies, and use data to inform product business decisions. • Maintain a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies. • Collaborate with stakeholders during product visioning and concept development. • Be accountable for the product(s), deliver according to the product model, and communicate product needs to business partners. • Assess value, build business cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on items that deliver maximum value and align with product strategy. • Identify and help clients understand the business model, value, and value proposition. • Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation. • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and serve as the primary contact for product-related inquiries. • Create sufficiently detailed specifications for product features so they are clearly understood by development teams. • Represent the team to stakeholders, clients, and users. • Be an integrated member of the team. • Work closely with product management and senior leadership to create products that fit the company portfolio. • Research and analyze the market, users, and product roadmap. • Promote and expand understanding of Agile practices, Lean Startup, emerging technologies, and other trends.

Job Requirements

  • BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience as a Product Owner in the industry.
  • Proven experience working as a Product Owner.
  • Experience in sales or marketing is an advantage.
  • Experience managing stakeholders and their expectations.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on common goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with team members and customers.
  • Experience defining minimum marketable features and minimum viable products.
  • Able to define the product roadmap.
  • Upper-intermediate English level.
