Role Description The goal is to create gold-standard answer keys and grading rubrics for intentionally ambiguous finance questions, grounded in real company filings. - Define and justify appropriate and essential metrics and KPIs by sector / stage / business model - Interpret 3–4 years of results, including one-offs, accounting effects, mix, and cycle - Apply sector-specific repertoire: drivers, essential KPIs for that market, red flags, and typical patterns Qualifications - Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field - Strong command of corporate finance and market analysis - Above-average depth in at least one GICS sector - Advanced English Requirements - This role is designed for senior-level experts with real market experience Benefits - Remote and asynchronous work model - Estimated dedication: ~10 hours total (may extend up to ~15h depending on pipeline needs) - Work format: task-based (typical task: 30–60 minutes) - Compensation: USD 100/hour

Role Description We are seeking an OnCore CTMS Budget & Effort Analyst who will be responsible for independently managing budget build/calendar modification activity for clinical trials in the OnCore Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS). This position ensures that sponsored budgets accurately reflect executed agreement terms, institutional standards, and study-specific financial parameters. This process supports proper financial reconciliation across multiple systems. - Build clinical trial budgets, with associated calendar modifications (if needed) in OnCore CTMS, including budget amendments, in accordance with executed agreements, budgets, established guidelines, and institutional procedures. - Create accurate and timely budget/calendar builds, manage study team related queries, and perform quality checks to ensure compliance with institutional SOPs. - Participate in budget analysis and review to confirm financial accuracy and consistency between OnCore budgets, executed agreements, and billing designations. - Troubleshoot and test budget/calendar builds, visit structures, and subject management issues in OnCore CTMS to ensure data accuracy and proper system functionality. - Orient study team and trial invoicing staff on effective use of OnCore Budgets and Calendars upon release for use. - Arrange and conduct hand-off meetings, manage hand-off process and respond in a timely manner to stakeholder concerns and requests for modification or correction. - Collaborate with Clinical Research Support Services coverage analysts, post-award clinical trials invoicing staff, Office of Clinical Trials colleagues, and Research IT staff to ensure data consistency and assist in resolving budget build and effort discrepancies. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field. - Three years of related experience in sponsored research and/or financial positions, preferably in an academic or medical setting. - Experience with commercial clinical trials financial and revenue cycle workflows and knowledge of the clinical trials lifecycle. - Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
