Role Description The Service Sales Manager is responsible for driving service sales growth by delivering strong order intake, revenue, and margin expansion across assigned accounts and territories. This role creates significant impact by identifying opportunities, converting pipeline into revenue, and increasing installed base penetration to sustain long-term, profitable growth. This position reports to Director, Service Sales, India LSIG and is part of the Service Sales / Commercial Organization located in Pune. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Drive service sales growth through disciplined opportunity identification, pipeline management, and conversion to achieve order, revenue, and margin targets. - Execute strategic account plans to expand service coverage, increase share of wallet, and build recurring revenue streams. - Identify customer needs and translate them into value-based service offerings including maintenance, lifecycle services, and modernization. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders to position services as critical to reliability, performance, and cost optimization. - Maintain an accurate and robust sales funnel to ensure predictable forecasting and consistent target achievement. - Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and technical teams to ensure seamless execution, high customer satisfaction, and repeat business. - Leverage market insights, competitive intelligence, and performance data to continuously refine sales strategies and drive business outcomes. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. - Minimum 6 to 10+ years of experience in service sales, industrial sales, or B2B solution selling (no cap applied). - Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets (orders, revenue, and margin) in a structured sales environment. - Experience managing CRM tools and maintaining accurate sales pipelines and forecasts. - Experience working with installed base, service contracts, or lifecycle service offerings. Requirements - Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel within assigned territory.
