IT SAP Variant Configuration Analyst

Current Lighting

• Responsible for planning, managing, and executing the activities associated with detailed construction, analysis, and maintenance of the Variant Configurators (VCs) across brands. • Provides extensive support in the areas affected by the Variant Configurators, including controls, processes, and data integrity, to enable interconnected systems. • Will interface with Enterprise IT team members, SAP platform resources, SAP S/4 end-users, Engineering, New Product development and Customer Service personnel in the execution of duties. • Creating and maintaining the Variant Configurator data for Current Lighting within the SAP S/4 environment. • Conducting unit testing, integration testing, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) for LO-VC-related solutions across various cross functional teams. • Facilitating and/or participating in business process improvement and change sessions in support of the company’s process improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or information technology is desired.
  • In lieu of a degree, 3+ years of experience working in an SAP ECC or S/4 environment or similar ERP system working extensively with Bills of Material, Material Master and/or Variant Configuration will be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Variant Configuration is desired either SAP S/4 Hana or ECC with LO-VC.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 Hana experience with Sales and Distribution (SD) and Order to Cash (OTC) is a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the SAP’s Variant Configurator processes (LO-VC) is desired.
  • Experience with constraint and table attribute-based modeling techniques.
  • Product knowledge of Luminaires, Controls, Signage and Signaling is highly desired.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
