Role Description The Technical Manager drives the technological advancement of the organization. They oversee the systems and networking teams, and ensure the implementation, innovation, and efficient management of IT infrastructure. The Technical Manager collaborates with networking and systems support teams to enhance system performance, complete projects and support technical services. Technical Managers keep up with advancements in the field and promote technological innovation. Responsibilities - Supervise day-to-day operations - Respond to customer service issues in a timely manner - Manage innovation, implementation and ongoing support of systems and networks - Manage support teams and evaluating performance metrics - Oversee infrastructure testing, documentation, and change management - Ensure that products and services are delivered on time and within budget - Manage software and hardware installations and upgrades - Maintain computer network infrastructure and ensure network security - Hire and train new IT staff - Ensure continuing education of the latest industry techniques and best practices Requirements - A Bachelor's degree in a business administration field or equivalent experience - Extensive experience in technical management - Ability to manage IT support teams, as well as hire and train new IT staff - Extensive experience in collaborating with development teams and clients - Ability to diagnose faults, oversee documentation, and implement required changes - Ensuring optimal hardware and software functionality, as well as network security - Ability to keep up with IT advancements - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills - Good understanding of management practices and techniques - Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills - Travel up to 10% - Must be on-camera for remote calls. Work Schedule Typical schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Must be flexible to accommodate departmental needs. Work Location Place of employment is expected to be Remote. For all remote meetings, there is an expectation of being on-camera for all meetings with appropriate attire and background. Physical Requirements - This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. - The ability to move about to accomplish tasks. - Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions. - Communicating verbally and written word with others to exchange information. - Exposure to a standard office environment with average room temperatures with no adverse environmental conditions expected. • Engage daily with customers (BWROG members) to understand fleet needs, identify emerging issues, and shape project scope aligned with industry priorities • Lead multi-disciplinary technical teams including utility SMEs, GVH engineering, vendors, and national labs to deliver high-quality technical products and solutions • Develop and manage detailed budgets and schedules with strong discipline in estimating, tracking, and early risk identification • Support committee chairs in planning and executing committee activities, including agenda development, action item management, decision documentation, and long-term strategic planning • Represent GVH at BWROG meetings, regulatory interactions, and industry forums • Apply Lean and continuous improvement principles to strengthen internal processes, documentation quality, governance, and stakeholder communication

• responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources • responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline • ensures project implementation as well as work packages and constraints are accurately integrated into project planning scenario • responsible for monitoring progress and producing accurate projections • ensures other functions have access to accurate current reports and projections and relevant reports are available for the customer • includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development • utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy • acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience • may lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements

• Perform all aspects of project management for assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and resource management. • Provide leadership and strategic oversight for project teams, ensuring projects are delivered within schedule and cost constraints. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and timelines. • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary. • Monitor project performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report progress to stakeholders. • Negotiate contract terms and manage change orders as needed. • Mentor and guide junior project managers, sharing expertise and best practices.
