• Define and enforce a coherent cloud architecture strategy • Own cloud cost strategy in partnership with Finance • Own Albert’s security posture end-to-end • Implement and evolve a Zero Trust architecture • Lead compliance and audit readiness • Own Azure interoperability strategy • Manage the ML/AI infrastructure platform • Drive infrastructure modernization • Build and lead a global SRE organization • Define and own the SLO framework • Establish incident response and disaster recovery programs • Manage vendor relationships • Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness programs

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering
  • 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Deep AWS expertise
  • Meaningful Azure exposure
  • Kubernetes at architectural depth
  • Experience designing SLO frameworks
  • Building or managing global, distributed engineering teams
  • Strong security fundamentals
  • Designing incident response, post-mortem, DR, and business continuity programs
  • Driving IaC standardization and DevOps maturity
  • Track record of cloud cost reduction through FinOps practices
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and infrastructure budgets
  • Startup or high-growth company experience
  • MLOps infrastructure experience preferred
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP) preferred
