Job Requirements
- 2+ years experience in SEO, preferably with local or multi-location brands
- Strong knowledge of Google Business Profile optimization
- Ability to explain technical SEO in plain language
- Organized and self-directed with clear communication
- Familiarity with tools like Semrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, etc.
- Experience working with restaurants or hospitality businesses (nice to have)
- Basic understanding of Squarespace, Shopify (nice to have)

Location: Remote (East Coast, US) Team: Strategy & Innovation Reports to: VP, Strategy & Innovation Salary Cap: $75,000 Position Overview Allied Global Marketing is seeking a forward-thinking Search Optimization Specialist with a strong grasp of both traditional search mechanics and AI-driven discovery environments. This role sits at the intersection of SEO, ASO, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), optimizing not just for rankings, but for visibility, citation, and brand presence across LLM-powered search experiences. As a senior individual contributor, you will own hands-on optimization across web and app ecosystems while actively shaping how Allied adapts to AI-mediated search platforms such as Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and emerging answer engines. You will work closely with Strategy, Paid Media, Earned Media teams to ensure search optimization is future-proofed, measurable, and integrated across channels. Who You Are You are an optimizer who understands that “search” no longer stops at blue links. You are fluent in technical SEO fundamentals, but equally comfortable thinking about how and why brands surface inside AI-generated answers, summaries, and citations. You’re hands-on, tool-literate, and opinionate. You experiment, test, document, and iterate. You can translate complex technical or AI-driven concepts into clear recommendations for clients and internal teams, and you’re motivated by building systems that scale, not one-off fixes. Key Responsibilities Search & Technical Optimization - Lead and execute technical SEO initiatives, including: - - Comprehensive site audits and on-page optimization - Schema markup and structured data implementation - Log file analysis, crawl efficiency, and indexation management - Site architecture and internal linking strategies - Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis using both traditional and AI-assisted methodologies. Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) - Optimize content and site signals for LLM-based and generative search environments, including: - - AI Overviews and answer engines - Conversational search platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.) - Identify opportunities to improve brand visibility, citation frequency, and factual alignment within AI-generated responses. - Partner with content, PR, and Paid Media teams to ensure GEO strategies are reinforced through authoritative content, structured data, and earned signals. • Actively support and execute link-building campaigns across multiple client accounts. • Identify, research, and validate link-building opportunities that align with client requirements and budgets. • Ensure links are secured efficiently to meet campaign targets and delivery timelines. • Support campaign scaling by maintaining a consistent pipeline of confirmed placements. • Work on campaigns targeting European markets including Spain, Poland, Germany, France, and Italy , as well as the US and UK . • Support link acquisition in Industrial, Legal (Law), B2B, and B2C niches , ensuring relevance and quality. • Coordinate outreach workflows to publishers, site owners, and partners across these markets. • Work closely with Account Managers to understand client briefs, link requirements, and market-specific strategies. • Translate client goals into actionable link-building and outreach tasks. • Ensure delivery aligns with client expectations, quality guidelines, and campaign budgets. • Track outreach status, confirmed placements, live links, and campaign progress. • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for internal teams and Account Managers. • Flag delivery risks, gaps, or delays early to ensure smooth execution. • Follow established SOPs and workflows for link-building execution. • Ensure all domains, placements, and links meet internal quality standards. • Support link validation, checks, and final documentation prior to reporting. • Use SEO and prospecting tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, ScrapeBox , or similar to research, validate, and support link acquisition. • Maintain clean and accurate data across spreadsheets, CRMs, and internal tracking systems.
• Perform keyword research to identify high-ranking opportunities relevant to Magicdecor's products and services. • Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and images to improve search engine rankings. • Collaborate with the content team to create and update SEO-friendly blog posts, product descriptions, and landing pages. • Assist in identifying and resolving technical SEO issues, such as site speed, mobile usability, and crawl errors. • Research and implement strategies to build quality backlinks to improve domain authority. • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software. • Research competitors' SEO strategies to identify trends and areas for improvement. • Generate weekly and monthly reports on SEO performance, rankings, and traffic metrics.
