Senior Anaplan Administrator
ModMed
• Design, build, and maintain complex Anaplan modules and dashboards using DISCO and LID methodologies. • Manage the "IT" side of the house, including Workspace memory, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) synchronization, and security (Roles/Selective Access). • Own the data flow between Anaplan and upstream systems (ERP/Snowflake) using Anaplan Connect, CloudWorks, or APIs. • Implement and tune Anaplan PlanIQ and Optimizer to move the business from manual data entry to predictive, ML-based forecasting. • Act as a techno-functional consultant for Finance and Operations, translating "business talk" into robust technical requirements.
Job Requirements
- Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Level 2).
- Preferred: Level 3 or Certified Solution Architect.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Anaplan experience; proficiency in complex logic, lookup/mapping functions, and sparsity management.
- Experience automating data loads via ETL tools or Anaplan-native integration features.
- Solid understanding of version control, testing protocols, and audit requirements.
- Ability to independently audit existing models to identify structural inefficiencies or calculation bottlenecks.
- Fundamental understanding of FP&A, Supply Chain, or Sales Operations processes.
- Ability to create clean, high-adoption Management Reporting pages and End-User dashboards.
- Experience (or strong aptitude) in deploying PlanIQ or similar ML-forecasting tools.
- Familiarity with Anaplan Optimizer for resource allocation and constraint-based modeling.
- A proactive mindset to suggest platform improvements and leverage AI to automate routine tasks.
- The ability to prioritize a backlog of requests independently and make sound architectural decisions for the long term.
