• Assist with network and security deployments including staging, installation, configuration, validation, and troubleshooting of data and security networks • Configure routing, switching, and security platforms based on established designs and best practices • Support network discovery activities and assist with gathering technical requirements and documentation for client environments • Create and maintain implementation documentation, diagrams, and deployment notes to ensure clear communication with clients and internal teams • Work closely with sales engineers, project managers, and senior engineers to deliver successful customer outcomes • Diagnose and resolve network and security issues during project deployments and post-implementation support • Assist with scheduled maintenance procedures and network updates both remotely and onsite as required

• Leads the planning, forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for network systems • Integrates and schematically depicts voice and data communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete network configurations • Monitors protocol compatibility, performs system tuning and makes recommendations for improvement • Develops integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business issues • Evaluates new products, performs network problem resolution and assists in the development and documentation of technical standards and interface applications

• Implement, maintain, and support advanced network infrastructure systems—primarily focused on the Cisco networking platform. • Implement and maintain advanced Data Center Network Technologies, including Network Segmentation, Next-Generation Firewalls, Security Threat Protection, SD-WAN, Content Delivery/Load Balancing, and advanced flow mapping tools. • Provide full lifecycle management for all equipment across Iron Mountain UK Secure Data Centers and UK Field offices, including maintaining component inventories and capacity management reporting. • Review and assist with project deployment plans, drive execution alongside PMs and Risk Management, and actively guide/mentor fellow network administrators and engineers. • Produce regular, accurate management reports related to KPIs/KRIs, metrics, and the status of security and compliance-related initiatives to present to senior leadership.

Role Description This Network Specialist - Finance role will be to provide outside plant project support for a geographic area, along with analytical preparation of records, statistics and reports relating to Outside Plant (OSP) functions. This will also include but not be limited to support for Outside Plant Engineering (OSPE) and/or Construction (OSPC) to ensure that outside plant projects are completed on time, in scope and on budget. The Network Specialist - Finance will manage the invoice process including Purchase Orders, tracking work performed, as well as reviewing and processing of invoices from external vendors. This position will work closely with engineering, construction and finance personnel collecting and verifying data required to complete outside plant engineering and construction tasks. This position has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ States in which TDS Telecom operates. - Understands and follows established processes, and completes assigned work in accordance with established quality measures to Plan, Engineer, Implement, Optimize or Operate TDS’s combined Voice/Video/Data network infrastructure. - Makes use of quality improvement techniques, and participates in process improvement and management activities. - Grow technical skills as they pertain to TDS's network infrastructure through a variety of mechanisms including self-training, formal classes and coaching. - Utilizes vendor contact in accordance with TDS contractual obligations. Understands and initiates appropriate level of vendor use. Qualifications - Associates degree (or higher) -OR- 2+ years professional work experience. - 2+ years experience in Voice, Data, or Video networking. Requirements - Requires software knowledge and skills in business and office applications, such as spreadsheets, database applications, word documents, etc. - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP preferred. - Able to participate in a small group to work specific network issues. - The ability to manage changing priorities and the ability to handle several simple network tasks concurrently with assistance required to help set priorities. - Scope of responsibility limited to assignments from manager. - Able to work with diverse individuals/teams/customers. - Able to interact and work with others as part of a team.
