Duties include: - Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns; - Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and define business requirements and ensure alignment with data science objectives; - Design and complete experiments to validate and optimize machine learning models, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability; - Collaborate with data engineers and ML engineers to integrate data science solutions into existing systems and workflows; - Communicate sophisticated technical concepts and findings to technical and non-technical partners to ensure clear understanding and agreement; and - Conduct peer reviews and participate in model and code reviews. Work Arrangement Requirement Hybrid from Boston Office (3 days from office, 2 days from home) Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 2 years of data analysis experience. Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently: - 2 years of experience using programing languages including Python or R. - 2 years of statistical testing and modeling experience. - 1 year of experience using machine learning principles and techniques. - 1 year of experience using data visualization tools or libraries. Referenced Salary Location Boston, Massachusetts Working Arrangement Hybrid Salary range is expected to be between $90,160.00 USD - $167,440.00 USD Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Environmental Scientist/Industrial Hygienist ~50% field / 50% remote Apex is seeking an environmental professional with experience in industrial hygiene to perform asbestos, lead-paint, mold/moisture intrusion, exposure assessment, abatement monitoring, and related industrial hygiene and EHS compliance projects across Southern California.
