Gateway Safety Engineer
Globalstar
• Safeguard the health and safety of personnel and protect the environment across critical Gateway facility operations. • Own the WSHE management system and support the global facilities team in implementing safety standards. • Conduct hazard and risk assessments, investigate incidents, and drive a culture of continuous safety improvement. • Manage the incident, near-miss, and hazard reporting system. • Develop, schedule, and deliver safety training. • Lead incident and near-miss investigations, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and produce Corrective Action (CA) documentation. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for safety and environmental performance across Gateways.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science/Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related engineering/technical discipline.
- 5+ years in WSHE/EHS roles within critical facilities, data centers, telecom/teleport, utilities, or comparable industrial 24/7 operations.
- Demonstrated experience administering or maintaining a safety management system (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 framework).
- Incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis / Corrective Action experience.
- Electrical safety program experience — NFPA 70E, arc flash, lockout/tagout.
- Contractor and construction safety management.
