Health Outcomes Researcher – Surveys and Observational Studies
RTI International
• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of RWE and observational research studies across therapeutic areas • Contribute to maintaining project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using established project management tools and processes • Monitor scope, schedule, and budget; identify risks and dependencies and communicate potential mitigation approaches • Develop, review, and maintain study documentation, including protocols, data collection instruments, analysis plans, and progress reports • Ensure adherence to study protocols, data quality standards, and regulatory, client, and internal requirements • Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to support timely and high-quality project execution • Support client communications, including preparation of materials, status updates, and contributions to presentations • Contribute to the development of study reports, manuscripts, abstracts, and other dissemination materials • Participate in knowledge sharing and support team initiatives to build capability in emerging methods and tools
Job Requirements
- PhD in public health, epidemiology, health sciences, biostatistics, social sciences, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading real‑world evidence, observational research, outcomes research, or related health research studies
- Strong understanding of observational study designs, real‑world data sources, and applied research methods
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple studies in a deadline‑driven environment
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience supporting client‑facing deliverables
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with project tracking tools and research databases is a plus
- Ability and interest in growing into a full project leadership role over time
