Senior Manager, Fund Accounting & Reporting

• Prepare accurate investor reports including performance metrics (IRR, TVPI, DPI, RVPI, etc.), NAV and carried interest calculations. • Ensure compliance with Invest Europe guidelines and handle ad-hoc enquiries. • Take responsibility for annual financial statements, including notes; closely coordinate with auditors, monitor quality and timelines, and perform risk-focused reviews. • Review accounting data, reconciliations and valuation checks while continuously improving our quality assurance processes. • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to standardize and automate processes further. • Support portfolio valuations, waterfall calculations and review capital calls, distributions and management fee calculations. • Communicate proactively and reliably with GPs, LPs and internal teams (operations, tech). • Work closely with the tax team on tax-related matters and ensure consistency between accounting, the tax ledger and investor reporting.
Job Requirements
- Degree in accounting, finance or controlling (or equivalent) and at least 5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting/administration (alternative investments).
- Strong knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS; experience with additional standards (e.g., Luxembourg, US GAAP) and audit experience is advantageous.
- Practical experience with Invest Europe guidelines and a strong command of reporting processes.
- High IT affinity; experience with fund reporting software and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; interest in project management software is a plus.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, dynamic, deadline-driven and committed to continuous learning.
- Very good English skills (written and spoken); German proficiency is an advantage.
