Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Kaseya

• Design and implement security controls across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and software development workflows • Integrate security testing tools, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and vulnerability management solutions • Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for applications, infrastructure, and platform services • Implement and maintain security controls for cloud environments, infrastructure-as-code, and containerized workloads • Develop automated security and compliance checks supporting regulatory and internal security requirements • Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security teams to implement secure development practices • Evaluate, implement, and optimize security tooling supporting application and infrastructure security • Mentor engineers on secure development practices and DevSecOps methodologies

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, DevOps, or related engineering roles
  • Experience implementing security controls within CI/CD pipelines and software development workflows
  • Experience working with AWS or Azure in a production environment
  • Experience working with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience scripting or automating workflows using Python, Bash, Terraform, or similar technologies
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Snyk, Wiz, GitHub Advanced Security, or similar platforms (Preferred)
  • Experience with SIEM, security monitoring, or threat detection platforms (Preferred)
  • Experience implementing infrastructure-as-code security controls (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS (Preferred)
  • Experience conducting threat modeling and security architecture reviews (Preferred)
  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading security initiatives across multiple teams (Preferred)
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) in engineering workflows (Preferred)

Role Description As a Forward Deployment Engineer in our Professional Services Team, you will be instrumental in guiding new clients through a smooth and successful integration with our SaaS platform and implementations on client premises. You will leverage your knowledge of modern development, deployment, and security practices to manage client-specific configurations, ensure optimal performance within our infrastructure, and help clients understand how to utilize our product suite effectively. This role requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to balance multiple client engagements.
