Senior Systems Architect

• Lead architectural decisions for high-scale products. • Design, evolve, and ensure the quality of the system architecture. • Collaborate closely with product teams, engineering, and technical leadership. • Define and evolve the architecture of distributed systems and integrations. • Design scalable, secure, and highly available solutions. • Guide development teams on best practices and architectural patterns. • Conduct technical design reviews and strategic code reviews. • Identify technical risks and propose mitigation plans. • Document architectural decisions and reference models. • Serve as a technical point of reference in stakeholder discussions.
Job Requirements
- Strong experience as a System Architect / Software Architect in complex environments.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, REST/GraphQL APIs, and integrations.
- Proficiency in at least one modern stack (Java/.NET/Node/Python or similar).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and managed services.
- Experience with messaging, queues, and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
- Familiarity with security best practices, observability, performance, and resilience.
- Prior experience guiding engineering teams and making technical decisions.
- Preferred: Experience with event-driven architectures and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Experience operating in high-scale, mission-critical scenarios.
- Cloud or software architecture certifications are a plus.
- Experience working in agile environments and a DevOps/SRE culture.
