For the international launch of our strategic Electronic Medical Record ORBIS (U), we are looking for an Application Specialist in the area of ORBIS development tools to make a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector. - Focus on the medical applications of our ORBIS hospital information system. - Responsible for customised configuration using our development tools (ORBIS Form Designer, ORBIS Medical Query Generator, ORBIS Experter, Jaspersoft® Studio, ORBIS U-Composer). - Work closely with the regions and customers to implement process optimisations and design modern hospital workflows. - Train and support local service organizations. - Define, prioritize and follow up on serviceability requirements to the R&D teams. - Lead pilot/first of type projects in cooperation with product management and local service organizations. - Create content for the ORBIS Training program. - Assist in the definition and validation of the reference db for a new country. - Guide/assist in the first deployments of a new country/region. - Assist/support on unblocking escalation sites, problem sites. - Maintain and review documentation, manuals and training material. - Drive an international community of domain experts focused on sharing knowledge and best practices. Qualifications - A Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science or Healthcare IT, alternatively a completed IT-technical training and/or nursing training. - Experience in healthcare software, enterprise software or similarly complex customer environments. - Good understanding of software deployment, customer adoption and operational readiness processes. - Professional experience in ward communication, ED, OR, anaesthesia, intensive care, nursing workstation, inpatient and/or outpatient patient administration (if possible). - Experience working with strategic customers and managing complex stakeholder environments. - In-depth knowledge in SQL and Programming (ideally also in Javascript). - Good knowledge of hospital processes. - Languages: Fluent in English. Knowledge in French/German would be a plus. Requirements - Business process modelling knowledge is beneficial.
