Key Account Manager Italy and Balkans

Schletter Solar GmbH

Role Description - Drive business development activities and acquire new customers in the Italian utility-scale solar market, while supporting business growth across the Balkans region. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including EPCs, developers, investors, and other industry partners. - Leverage your existing network within the utility-scale solar industry to identify and develop new business opportunities. - Present Schletter's utility-scale mounting structure solutions to customers and project partners. - Manage customer relationships throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract signature. - Coordinate quotation, proposal, and commercial processes in close collaboration with internal teams. - Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with customers. - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade fairs. - Regularly visit customers, project sites, and industry partners across Italy and the Balkans. - Support market intelligence activities by monitoring industry developments, competitors, and customer needs. - Develop and execute regional sales strategies to increase market share and strengthen Schletter's presence in Italy and selected Balkan markets. Qualifications - Several years of successful sales or business development experience within the utility-scale solar industry. - Strong existing network with EPCs, developers, IPPs, investors, or other key players in the Italian solar market. - Existing relationships within the Balkans solar market are considered a strong advantage. - Experience selling technical solutions or components for utility-scale solar projects; experience with mounting structures is a strong advantage. - Proven track record in winning and developing customer relationships and large-scale solar projects. - Strong commercial and negotiation skills. - Fluent in Italian (Native) and English (Professional); additional language(s) are a plus. - Self-driven, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment. - Willingness to travel extensively within Italy and the Balkans and meet customers.
