Role Description We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for investment banking professionals experienced in financial modeling, pitch materials, investment analysis, company research, industry analysis, and transaction-oriented advisory work. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on investment banking research, financial model review, pitch deck evaluation, investment memo development, company and industry analysis, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their investment banking experience to review business and finance scenarios, synthesize complex materials, evaluate analytical outputs, and provide structured feedback based on real-world banking workflows. Key Responsibilities - Financial Modeling & Investment Analysis - Review or develop financial models, investment analyses, valuation support materials, and transaction-oriented summaries. - Evaluate model logic, assumptions, outputs, and supporting analysis for clarity, consistency, and commercial relevance. - Support review of investment summaries, financial memos, business cases, and analytical materials. - Identify gaps in analysis, unsupported assumptions, unclear conclusions, or areas requiring stronger financial reasoning. - Pitch Materials & Transaction Support - Review pitch decks, presentation materials, investment narratives, and transaction-related documents. - Assess whether materials are well-structured, persuasive, data-supported, and appropriate for stakeholder review. - Synthesize business and financial information into clear recommendations, memos, or presentation-style outputs. - Support structured evaluation of strategic positioning, company performance, market opportunity, and transaction rationale. - Company & Industry Research - Conduct or review company analysis, industry research, competitive positioning, market trends, and sector-level insights. - Evaluate business models, revenue drivers, growth opportunities, risks, and market dynamics. - Support research workflows involving multiple documents, financial data, business context, and strategic decision points. - Prepare clear written feedback based on investment banking judgment and structured evaluation criteria. Qualifications - At least 2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, private capital advisory, or a closely related finance role. - Experience at a top investment bank, elite boutique, advisory firm, Big 4 transaction team, private equity support function, or comparable finance environment. - Strong financial modeling, analytical, and written communication skills. - Experience preparing or reviewing pitch decks, investment summaries, financial memos, company profiles, or industry analysis. - Comfort working independently with complex, ambiguous, or fast-moving business materials. - Strong judgment when evaluating financial assumptions, investment logic, and transaction-related recommendations. - Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment. Educational Background - A degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, mathematics, engineering, or a related analytical field is helpful. - Professional experience in investment banking, corporate finance, valuation, private equity, transaction advisory, or strategic finance is highly relevant. - Equivalent practical experience with financial modeling, investment analysis, pitch materials, or company and industry research may also be valuable. Nice to Have - Experience with financial modeling, valuation, comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, DCF analysis, or transaction support. - Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, investment memos, pitch decks, market research, and business presentation materials. - Familiarity with company analysis, industry analysis, strategic finance, M&A support, capital markets, or private equity workflows. - Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week depending on project availability and scope. - Strong attention to detail in finance, research, modeling, and stakeholder-facing materials.
