Role Description As a senior System Support Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency, stability and availability of complex application systems. You will contribute significantly to operational success, refine your expertise in incident management and DevOps and leave a lasting impact on the delivery of inventive solutions to our clients. - You will use your skills in incident management processes and tools, application monitoring metrics and tooling to generate reports and take corrective actions. - You will understand complex application systems and find your way through them to debug a business impacting issue. - You will follow standards and best practices to bring operational efficiencies, stability and availability of the system. - You will use continuous delivery practices to evolve, support and deliver high-quality software, as well as value to end customers, as early as possible while working in collaborative, value-driven teams to build innovative customer experiences for our clients. - You will leverage your knowledge regarding the different logging techniques (various levels) and use them for alerting, monitoring and identifying the root cause of incidents. - You will efficiently use DevOps tools and practices to deploy and run software. - You will act as a mentor for less experienced peers through both your technical knowledge and leadership skills. - You will apply the latest technology thinking from our Technology Radar to solve client problems. Qualifications - You have experience working on programming languages such as Java or .Net, an understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP and scripting languages such as Python or Powershell. - You have a high-level understanding of various architectures such as monolithic, N-tier, layered, microservices and serverless. - You must possess strong debugging and triaging skills to troubleshoot code effectively. - You have experience working with relational databases such as MS SQL, MySQL or PostgreSQL. - You have experience working with containerization tools such as Docker and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure pipelines. - You have experience working with relational or non-relational databases. - You have an understanding of application monitoring tools such as DataDog, Prometheus or Grafana, the different metrics that go with it and are able to generate reports and take corrective actions. - You have the ability to ensure that the deliverables, namely bug fixes and enhancements to the existing codebase, are high-quality and well-tested. - You are comfortable with Agile methods, such as Scrum and/or Kanban. • Partner with business stakeholders to maintain a prioritized strategic roadmap, and coordinate and execute Salesforce.com and Professional Services Automation (PSA) / FinancialForce projects and enhancements • Provide strong analytical, problem solving, technical, and project management skills to effectively collect requirements, evaluate options, and design and deliver quality solutions • Own functional tasks and deliverables, including: SOX reporting, process definition, requirements gathering and backlog management, vendor selection, fit/gap analysis, functional design, testing, training, reporting, support, and continuous improvement of business applications • Create and maintain project, application and architectural design, and process documents • Work to drive adoption and alignment across the company’s business processes and systems • Ensure the consistency and quality of data across the company • Use and recommend best practices while delivering scalable high quality solutions

• Engage with end users and Veeam partners to establish and translate business objectives into technical requirements • Create content and deliver presentation and demonstrations to varying numbers and levels of decision makers, virtually and in person • Manage the technical evaluation stage of the sales process as a main technical advisor for Veeam solutions • Providing pre-sales assistance to customers as they evaluate Veeam software (i.e. POCs, Hands-on Labs, Bootcamps) • Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date details of customer and partner engagement activities on the CRM platform (Salesforce) • Working closely with Veeam’s value-added resellers on training, joint meetings and building relationships • Support lead generation activities such as events, webinars, user groups, etc. • Working closely with Veeam Product Development and Engineering to provide customer feedback • Active participation and collaboration with cross functional teams on various strategic initiatives that increases efficiencies and add long term value to the company (i.e. TCO & ROI calculators, hands-on-labs)
