• Process weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls across multiple clients and states • Manage payroll changes: new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, garnishments, and tax updates • Respond to employee and client questions related to payroll, earnings, deductions, and compliance • Review and audit payroll reports to ensure accuracy and completeness • Coordinate with internal and client teams on deadlines and deliverables • Stay current on payroll-related legislation and industry best practices • Learn and adapt to client-specific systems and internal tech tools • Support compliance with state-specific wage, labor, and tax laws
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of payroll experience, preferably supporting multiple clients or locations
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of payroll fundamentals
- Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to learn and navigate various platforms (e.g., Paylocity, Paycor, Gusto, etc.)
- Comfortable with client and employee-facing communication via email and video calls
- A curious, adaptable learner who thrives in a remote environment
- Familiarity with multi-state payroll compliance is a plus
- Experience in HCM, HRIS, or related platforms is a bonus
