• Lead reliability-focused design and readiness reviews for new and existing services • Build, operate, and continuously improve our observability stack • Own and evolve incident management practices • Plan and execute disaster recovery exercises and game days • Perform capacity planning and cost optimization for our cloud infrastructure • Identify and drive down systemic reliability risks across application, infrastructure, and process layers • Collaborate closely with Developer Experience, Security, and product engineering to embed reliability best practices • Participate in and help continuously improve the on-call rotation

• Design, build, and operate scalable production infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP • Own deployment architecture and runtime environments for execution nodes and backend services • Build and maintain secure key management systems for API keys, wallets, and exchange integrations • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response for mission-critical systems • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows (GitHub Actions) • Optimize infrastructure for reliability, security, performance, and cost • Collaborate closely with backend engineers supporting execution, settlement, and receipts systems • Ensure platform stability as the system scales to thousands of autonomous trading agents • Contribute to infrastructure best practices, automation, and operational documentation

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using services like EC2, S3, RDS, lambda, ECS, and Route 53 (DNS) • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to automate the provisioning and scaling of infrastructure • Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate software delivery • Monitor and optimize AWS resources for performance, cost, and security • Implement cloud networking, including VPC configuration, subnets, and security groups • Manage and maintain AWS services such as RDS (for database management), ECS (for container orchestration), and S3 (for storage solutions) • Configure and manage AWS Route 53 for DNS and domain management • Experience setting up vpn networks and management of remote IoT devices • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery practices in the cloud • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in real-time • Stay updated with AWS best practices and emerging cloud technologies

• Design, provision, and maintain GCP infrastructure using Terraform Cloud • Manage environments across staging and production with strict isolation • Operate and optimize: • Cloud Run • Cloud Functions • Cloud SQL (Postgres) • Cloud Tasks • Implement secure secrets management using GCP Secret Manager • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Fastlane • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging using GCP Ops Suite and Sentry • Design backup, recovery, and data retention strategies • Partner with backend engineers on deployment patterns and scaling strategies • Ensure infrastructure supports HIPAA-aligned security practices • Understand and support frontend user experience goals through infrastructure improvements and collaborative system design • Help accelerate the work of your software engineering colleagues by building a robust platform and automation to support iterative software development
