• Design and implement backend services using NestJS (v11) and TypeScript • Build secure, well-validated REST APIs using zod, class-validator, and OpenAPI • Implement role-based access control and JWT validation using Google Identity • Model and manage relational data using Prisma and Postgres • Implement background jobs and async workflows using Cloud Tasks • Integrate with external services (OCR, scheduling APIs, third-party data sources) • Ensure observability through structured logging, metrics, and Sentry • Write unit and integration tests using Jest • Collaborate closely with frontend and infra engineers on system design and deployment

• Build and run a world-class system for onboarding, supporting, retaining, and transforming Outlive users. • Support the entire customer experience ecosystem including customer communication frameworks, support operations, feedback loops, and the metrics that define success. • Use AI responsibly and effectively to streamline support, improve responsiveness, and scale a great customer experience with a small team. • Refine systems, identify gaps, advocate for product improvements, and eventually hire and mentor additional team members. • Create the framework for onboarding, customer education, and long-term engagement. • Build an experience that reflects Outlive’s premium design and scientific rigor. • Implement and manage tooling (Intercom, Zendesk, or similar) with an eye toward thoughtful automation. • Serve as the voice of the user inside the company and deliver insights that help us improve features.

• Own the entire Outlive product experience end-to-end. • Translate extremely complex medical, behavioral, and scientific concepts into intuitive, elegant user experiences. • Shape visual systems, interaction patterns, and the emotional journey of the user across iOS, web, and future surfaces. • Build a design system from scratch and collaborate closely with engineering. • Create intuitive, behaviorally-aware flows that bring Medicine 3.0 to life.

• Design, provision, and maintain GCP infrastructure using Terraform Cloud • Manage environments across staging and production with strict isolation • Operate and optimize: • Cloud Run • Cloud Functions • Cloud SQL (Postgres) • Cloud Tasks • Implement secure secrets management using GCP Secret Manager • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Fastlane • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging using GCP Ops Suite and Sentry • Design backup, recovery, and data retention strategies • Partner with backend engineers on deployment patterns and scaling strategies • Ensure infrastructure supports HIPAA-aligned security practices • Understand and support frontend user experience goals through infrastructure improvements and collaborative system design • Help accelerate the work of your software engineering colleagues by building a robust platform and automation to support iterative software development

• Build and maintain a high-quality React Native (Expo) mobile application for iOS and Android • Implement complex, stateful user experiences using Tamagui, expo-router, and TanStack Query • Integrate with REST APIs and custom authentication hooks backed by Firebase and our backend identity layer • Design and implement offline-first and background sync behaviors for daily health data and scoring • Integrate mobile-specific services including: • Push notifications (@react-native-firebase/messaging, Notifee) • Payments (@stripe/stripe-react-native) • Analytics (PostHog) • Error tracking (Sentry) • Ensure accessibility best practices are followed across mobile surfaces • Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineers to ship iteratively and safely • Participate in CI/CD workflows using EAS and GitHub Actions • Implement, maintain, and enhance behavior testing suites to identify and prevent product regression
