Backend/DevOps Engineer
Pragmatike
• Design, build, and operate scalable production infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP • Own deployment architecture and runtime environments for execution nodes and backend services • Build and maintain secure key management systems for API keys, wallets, and exchange integrations • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response for mission-critical systems • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows (GitHub Actions) • Optimize infrastructure for reliability, security, performance, and cost • Collaborate closely with backend engineers supporting execution, settlement, and receipts systems • Ensure platform stability as the system scales to thousands of autonomous trading agents • Contribute to infrastructure best practices, automation, and operational documentation
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Backend, DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
- Solid experience operating systems on AWS and/or GCP
- Security-first mindset with experience in key management, access control, and secrets handling
- Experience with monitoring and observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or similar)
- Strong scripting skills in Go (preferred), Python, Bash, or similar
- Experience running production systems with on-call ownership and incident response
