Role Description To enable data-driven strategic and operational decision making through extracting actionable insights from large datasets, performing statistical and advanced analytics to uncover trends and patterns, and presenting findings through clear visualisations and reports. - Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification. - Documenting data sources, methodologies, and quality findings with recommendations for improvement. - Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing. - Apply advanced analytical techniques to large datasets to uncover trends and correlations. - Develop validated logical data models and translate insights into actionable business recommendations. - Translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations, identifying opportunities for operational and process improvements. - Design and create interactive dashboards and visual reports using applicable tools. - Automate reporting processes for regular and ad-hoc stakeholder needs. Qualifications - Lead high impact data science projects from concept to deployment. - Serve as a key contributor in data aggregation, monitoring, reporting, and financial valuation. - Design and implement customer cash flow valuation models and automated forecasting solutions. - Drive strategic decisions in product profitability, data modeling, and risk exposure. - Conduct in-depth analysis using historical performance data. - Collaborate with senior leaders and partners across Finance, Marketing, Risk, and Analytics. - Provide technical and business leadership for acquisition investment optimization. - Lead the development of executive dashboards for real-time visibility into profitability. - Supervise and directly manage the work of team members. Requirements - Participate in overall project design and provide technical direction on key data science infrastructure decisions. - Work closely with technical disciplines to ensure latest modeling methodologies are incorporated. - Produce robust documentation to ensure replicability of results. - Foster a culture of analytical excellence, continuous learning, and collaboration. Who You Are The VP of Drug Safety will be responsible for managing all aspects of the drug safety functions of the CROs and will be an integral part of the Safety Management Team. Responsibilities can grow to include marketed product safety and pharmacovigilance when appropriate. Responsibilities - Contribute to and lead a full range of pharmacovigilance (PV) activities for investigational products, including operational activities, cross-functional activities with other departments, quality systems, audits, and inspections - Direct drug safety management oversight (clinical study case process flow, reconciliation with clinical database) for specific clinical trials, as requested - Manage oversight of external activities by vendors (CROs), including case processing, expedited safety reporting, and partner data exchange.
