• Thoroughly testing developed web applications against specified requirements across a variety of desktop browsers and mobile devices, ensuring cross-platform compatibility and a seamless user experience regardless of environment. • Apply, and further develop, a grounding in test automation by learning and using low‑code and no‑code UI‑based tools as part of your testing responsibilities. • Diligently recording and monitoring issues to ensure clarity and resolution, maintaining clear communication channels with development teams and stakeholders to expedite troubleshooting and fixes. • Creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation as needed, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts, to support repeatability and knowledge sharing within the team. • Collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders to effectively resolve issues, providing critical feedback, and participating in defect triage meetings to prioritize problems based on impact and urgency. • Consistently tracking test progress in alignment with release schedules, while prioritizing workloads efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising on quality or thoroughness. • Reviewing test environments and processes to drive continuous improvements and uphold high-quality standards, actively suggesting enhancements to test strategies and tools that align with evolving project requirements. • Supporting the team by providing accurate estimates for testing efforts, contributing to realistic project planning and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Food Safety & Quality Coordinator with experience in USDA/FSIS-regulated environments. This role is critical in supporting and maintaining food safety and quality processes across our co-manufacturing network. You’ll act as a key connector between internal teams and external partners, helping ensure that documentation is accurate, issues are tracked and resolved, and quality systems remain audit-ready. This is a hands-on, coordination-focused role where success comes from strong organization, sound judgment, and knowing when to escalate. What You’ll Do - Support and maintain food safety and quality programs in alignment with USDA, FSIS, HACCP, and internal standards - Serve as a key point of coordination between internal teams and co-manufacturing partners to support quality and food safety processes - Review production and quality records from co-manufacturers to support compliance verification and identify potential gaps - Track and support investigation and resolution of nonconformances (NCIs), complaints, and CAPAs - Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation across HACCP plans, SOPs, SSOPs, CCP monitoring, and sanitation logs - Apply established USDA/FSIS regulations and guidance to day-to-day quality processes, escalating complex or unclear situations as needed - Support the product label review process for FSIS compliance by identifying issues and coordinating with internal stakeholders and partners for resolution - Assist in preparation for and response to internal audits, third-party audits (e.g., SQF/BRC), and USDA/FSIS inspections - Collaborate with QA, R&D, operations, and external partners to support adherence to QMS requirements - Track and organize quality data to identify trends and support continuous improvement initiatives - Maintain organized, accurate records within document control and quality systems (e.g., Monday.com, Dropbox) - Communicate quality issues, findings, and corrective actions clearly to internal stakeholders and external partners, escalating when appropriate What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months) - Successfully take ownership of monitoring and maintaining existing NCI, CAPA, and complaint tracking processes - Maintain consistently organized and audit-ready documentation across supported co-manufacturers - Effectively communicate labeling and compliance-related issues between internal teams and co-manufacturers - Demonstrate strong judgment in determining when to resolve issues independently versus when to escalate - Consistently monitor and maintain quality systems (NCI, CAPA, complaints) with minimal oversight - Support vendor qualification and documentation processes with increasing independence - Build familiarity with internal systems and contribute to future system improvements (e.g., ERP integration) Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, biology, chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience - 2–5 years of experience in USDA/FSIS-regulated food manufacturing (meat, poultry, or seafood strongly preferred) - Experience supporting HACCP programs, GMPs, SSOPs, CAPA processes, and audit readiness - Familiarity with FSIS labeling requirements and regulatory documentation - Experience working with co-manufacturers, suppliers, or multi-site quality systems preferred - Experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment - Familiarity with GFSI standards (SQF, BRC) and electronic document control systems - Proficiency with digital tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and collaboration platforms - Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills - Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating cross-functionally and seeking guidance when needed - Demonstrated judgment in identifying when to escalate issues versus resolve independently Bonus Points - HACCP certification - PCQI certification - SQF Practitioner certification - Experience supporting internal and external audits Benefits - Medical, dental, and vision coverage with 100% employer-paid dental/vision and a small monthly medical premium for employees; dependents may be added at employee cost - Generous Paid time off to support balance and rest - Paid sick time for when you need it - Six (6) paid holidays each year - Paid parental leave for growing families - 100% company-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance - 401(k) with up to a 4% company match after one year of service - Monthly product stipend or access to perfectly imperfect damaged product so you can enjoy the nutrient-dense foods you help bring to others Compliance & Employment Practices Paleovalley and Wild Pastures are proud to be equal opportunity employers.
