Avenga
• Lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure • Translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Design highly available, fault-tolerant systems using GKE, and/or Compute Engine, and/or BigQuery. • Master secure baseline infrastructure templates, blueprints for landing zones and tools (ie. GCP ADK Framework capabilities) • Build and maintain comprehensive monitoring frameworks using Google Cloud Observability (formerly Stackdriver) • Define SLIs/SLOs, configure proactive alerting, and utilize Cloud Trace and Cloud Logging • Operate as a key member of a cross-functional team using Agile methodologies • Utilize Jira to track progress, manage the architectural backlog, and document technical user stories and tasks • Automate environment provisioning using Terraform or Ansible • Continuously monitor and tune resources for performance and cost-efficiency using the GCP Well-Architected Framework.
Job Requirements
- Deep proficiency in core GCP services (Networking, IAM, Cloud SQL, etc.)
- Proven experience with monitoring tools (Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, or Grafana)
- Strong background working in Agile/Scrum environments with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- High proficiency in Jira for task management and workflow tracking
- Google Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly preferred
- Multi-Cloud Knowledge: Proficiency with AWS is a significant plus
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
