Job Description

Key Account Manager – National Accounts

The Duckhorn Portfolio

• Develops and maintains strong relationships at the corporate level • Prepares sales strategies designed to grow our business in each assigned account • Prepares annual sales forecasts for each assigned account • Monitors and manages program compliance • Identifies new regional and/or emerging chain opportunities applicable for Duckhorn Portfolio and secure meetings for introductory presentations. • Works closely with Senior Director on account strategies to optimize PODs. • Works with TDP sales team to drive execution at the local level • Works with key wholesaler national accounts & regional teams to identify and secure sales opportunities • Works closely with Trade Marketing, Brand and Sales Analytics to create programs & presentations that drive sales in assigned accounts

Job Requirements

  • Must have experience working in the on-premise channel either as a supplier or wholesaler
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in wine related field
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Power Point and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to be in the market 80% of the time, defined as time out of the home office, visiting accounts and hosting events.
  • Must be a team-oriented person, willing to work closely and transparently with others
  • Must be willing to travel as needed to perform the job at the highest level
  • Must possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state car registration, insurance, and a clean driving record.

Role Description We are seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance to lead the financial analysis and decision support that powers SmithRx’s future growth and profitability initiatives. As a direct report to the Senior Director, Strategic Finance, this leader will operate as an athlete - building models, systems, and insights that help SmithRx make decisions with clarity. In partnership with the FP&A team, this role will help integrate financial analysis into the business and support data-driven decision making at scale. This is a role for someone who is excited to build, move seamlessly between detail and strategy, and serve as a true thought partner to senior leadership. Qualifications - 8+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, strategy & operations, FP&A, or related finance roles with operational experience at a fast-paced, scaling company. - Experience with subscription business models, including an understanding of ARR, revenue, retention, and unit economics. - Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Customer Success, and R&D teams, with a track record of influencing decisions through insight. - Exceptionally strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to build models from scratch in a high growth, operationally complex environment. - Ability to translate data and analysis into clear narratives for executives, and comfort presenting to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders. - Strong communication skills and executive presence, with the judgment to challenge assumptions while maintaining strong relationships. - High level of ownership, curiosity, and urgency, with the ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity. - Bachelor’s degree required. - Healthcare or health tech experience is a plus.
